The Chinese pregnancy calendar is an age-old method for estimating the gender of the child yet to be born. It is primarily used to discover whether you are about to have a baby boy or a baby girl.  People also term it as “Chinese conception chart,” or the “Chinese Conception Calendar. They are of the belief that this traditional method is very exact, although there is no evidence of any clinical studies testifying these claims. This calendar remained hidden within the four walls of a regal tomb. It is, however, displayed in the eminent, Beijing Institute of Sciences. The sad part of the telltale is that the sex of the child predicted by the calendar is not fool-proof. To quote an example: If the chart predicts the pregnancy to result into a boy child, it is not necessary it will essentially be a boy; it could even turn out to be a girl.

The Chinese pregnancy calendar predicts its results depending upon the pregnant woman’s age and the month of her conception, not through pregnancy symptoms. It is done by making two straight lines; 1 horizontal linked to your age and another one vertical from the month of pregnancy. The place of intersection of both the lines indicates the predicted end result of the gender of the baby-to-be-born.
