I am talking about VAGINAL INFECTION. One of my friends had to encounter it during pregnancy. It was too scary. But, thank God, she took action on time and saved her baby! That's why I want you to know about it.
Vaginal discharge is normal when you get a sticky white, odorless discharge similar to the one you get before your period, then everything's fine. This discharge is called leucorrhea. During pregnancy, you may get it a little more.
It is abnormal when the discharge is foul-smelling, frothy, greenish or yellow, too thin and transparent, then you need to take notice. And if you experience pain or itching in the vagina, or redness or inflammation, then do not sit and think about it. Call your doctor at once. It may be a sign of UTI or vaginal infection, which is known as vaginitis. It may either be Trichomoniasis, Moniliasis, or bacterial vaginosis. Sounds scary? Well, if you don't treat if fast, the infection may spread to your baby. Well, this IS scary!
Do this.
Call your doctor immediately. Consume yoghurt to restore the balance of bacteria in your vagina.
Keep yourself clean and dry.
Pack off your tight pants and bring out those cotton panties.
Dump perfumes, deodorant soaps, and bubble baths.
