Warning Signs That Are NOT Symptoms

Excessive breathlessness is one of the pregnancy sign that is also a symptom of some other medical complications. If you find yourself gasping for breath too often, then it may be a sign of heart or blood problems, diabetes, or hydroaminios, which occurs due to the accumulation of amniotic fluid in your sac.

Blurred vision: This is a sign of high blood pressure or fluid retention.

Bleeding from vagina: Although vaginal bleeding or spotting is normal in the early stage of pregnancy, you should not overlook excessive bleeding. It may be a sign of complications in the placenta or miscarriage.

Excessive pain in the abdomen: Abdominal cramps are normal as long as they are not persistent, or else it may be a sign of premature labor, miscarriage, or placenta problems.

Excessive vaginal discharge: It's true that vaginal discharge increases during pregnancy, but then the discharge should be white, sticky, and odorless. If you find foul smelling, too thin, transparent, or frothy, greenish, or yellow discharge in your underwear, it may be a cervical secretion or leaking amniotic fluid, which is a serious thing.

Profound swelling of your fingers and face: Pregnancy doesn't mean you have to swell from everywhere. So, watch out for this sign; it indicates high blood pressure.

Continuous vomiting: Throwing up once or twice is fine, but persistent vomiting requires medical attention.
Excessive thirst: Beware, you may have diabetes!

Severe and persistent headache: You may be suffering from rhinitis or an allergy.

Getting chills or fever: It indicates an infection in your reproductive organs or urinary tract. Call your doctor immediately.
