First Trimester

Second Trimester

Months 4 through 6 of the pregnancy are called as the second trimester. As the months proceed from 4 to 6, the shape of the belly would have been upright. There is continuous development of internal organs of the baby and the fetus is covered in fine hair called lanugo. The baby develops fat deposition ability so as to regulate the body temperature after birth.
Third Trimester
The stage has come when maximum growth of child occurs. As the months proceeds from 7 to 9 the organs like brain and eyes are fully developed except lungs. The shape of the belly drops down due to fetus turning in downward position. The pregnant woman can feel the movement of their child inside them. During the seventh month of pregnancy there is a possibility of premature delivery. But there is nothing to panic about as under medical intensive care techniques probability of survival of premature babies has greatly increased. During last months of pregnancy symptoms like Back-ache, pain in ribs and spine due to rolling of child might cause discomfort to would be mothers.
