Tips For Easy Labor
 

Always have a family member with you for emotional support. Learn yogic postures such as Namaskarasana, marjarasana, and Sulabh utkatasana. They ease the labor process.
 
Mukha dhauti is a very effective yogic breathing technique that releases tension and eases the labor process.
 
Give auto suggestions to your mind during labor. Say to yourself, "This is the most wonderful phase of my life" or "The power of my body and mind will help me give birth to my baby." Repeat, "I am completely relaxed" many times during labor and watch the pains surrender to you!

Remember, attitude is everything. Labor pains are inevitable. And the pain intensity varies with women. But, it is there. So, it depends on you how you cope with it. At this point of time, you will realize how beneficial yoga is! It teaches you a great deal of mind control.
