Pregnant? Take The Early Pregnancy Test!

When you think you are pregnant, there is only one way to end all the anxious speculations and nerve-wracking waiting, and that is to take an early pregnancy test. This is the first step a woman takes to determine whether she is pregnant or not.

If you think you are experiencing the early symptoms of pregnancy such as vomiting, breast tenderness, and so forth, you will surely want to know right away if you are pregnant or not. It can bring joy to those who have been waiting, and it could be a shock to those who did not plan it. Whatever the case may be the need to know the truth is crucial.

You can start by purchasing a home pregnancy testing kit over the counter in your neighborhood drug store. You will find that they are very convenient and affordable compared to seeing a doctor, plus they allow you to have privacy. The effectiveness of a pregnancy test is subject to some conditions, so you have to follow the instructions in the manual vigilantly to ensure accurate results.

Through the early pregnancy test kit, your pregnancy will be determined by detecting if you have HCG, or human chorionic gonadotropin, in your urine. HCG is considered the pregnancy hormone because it is only produced by your body if the egg is fertilized. If HCG is detected in your urine, you are definitely pregnant and this will reflect as a positive result in your pregnancy test.

Conducting an early pregnancy test can actually be done anytime, but if you want to get accurate results, it is best to do the test first thing in the morning. The first morning urine contains the highest concentration of HCG hormones. If HCG is detected during that time you can say that the test results are accurate.

It is very rare for an early pregnancy test to give false results. In fact, home pregnancy testing has an accuracy of 99 percent. If a negative result turns out to be false, it is usually because the test was conducted too early. You can test positive with home pregnancy tests as early as seven days after your ovulation. Although it is possible to show results in seven days, it may also be the case that implantation has not happened. It can take seven to ten days after ovulation for implantation to happen. For the best outcome, you should wait until you skip your period or do the test 14 days after ovulation.

Taking an early pregnancy test will definitely help ease your anxieties or apprehensions by finding out the truth and accepting the responsibility of motherhood. The sooner you notice that you have the signs of pregnancy, the sooner that you must conduct a test. When you get your results, get confirmation from your doctor. Early detection is the key to receiving the prenatal care you and your unborn baby need.
