Early Pregnancy Signs

One of the happiest moments in a woman’s life comes when she realizes that she is carrying her young one in her womb and has entered the blessed phase of pregnancy. The time period she must wait before she can carry her bundle of happiness in her arms is about 40 weeks.

The expected day of delivery is normally calculated by adding nine months and six days to the first day of the last menstrual period, prior to missing the menstrual periods. These nine months are marked by a lot of changes, both physical and psychological, in a women’s body.

Experiences

Some women prefer to keep a day by day pregnancy diary to note down the experiences prior to childbirth. The days are marked with different experiences like fatigue, morning sickness, nausea, mixed feelings, hunger, thirst, etc. The day by day pregnancy happenings help in sharing these experiences with the generation-to-follow and also assist in anticipating any complications in the future.

Early pregnancy signs can be found out by a number of ways. There are a number of simple test kits available in the market to help women in this task. The normal symptoms are vomiting, feeling excess tiredness, experiencing frequent urges to go to the bathroom, dizziness, and craving for certain foods.

Not All Are Pregnancy Signs

All of these are not exactly medical signs. Some medical signs are missed menstrual periods, presence of certain enzymes in the blood and urine, difference in body temperature, changes in the breasts and the genital region, and initial bleeding that occurs due to the embryo getting attached to the uterus. This initial bleeding, brownish in color, is a sign of early pregnancy.

Starting from here till the end of the third trimester, when the actual childbirth takes place, are the day by day pregnancy experiences in the life of a woman.
