One of the happiest moments in a woman’s life comes when she realizes that she is carrying her young one in her womb and conveys to her near and dear ones that fact of her pregnancy. The period she has to wait before she can carry her bundle of happiness in her arms is about 40 weeks. The expected day of delivery is normally calculated by adding nine months and six days to the first day of the last menstrual period prior to missing the periods. These nine months are marked by a lot of changes, both physical and psychological in a women’s body.
Some women prefer to keep a day by day pregnancy diary to note down the experiences prior to childbirth. The days are marked with different experiences like fatigue, morning sickness, nausea, mixed feelings, hunger, thirst etc. The day by day pregnancy experiences help in sharing the experiences with the generation to follow and anticipate the complications in future.
The early pregnancy signs can be found out by a number of ways and the same can be had without medical assistance also. There are number of simple test kits available in the market to help a women in this task. The normal symptoms are vomitting, feeling of excess tiredness, frequent urge to go to the bathroom, dizziness and a craving for certain typr of foods.
These are not exactly medical signs. Some of the medical signs are missed menstrual preiods, presence of certain enzymes in the blood and urine, difference in body temperature, changes in the breasts and the genital region, initial bleeding during the embryo getting attached in the uterus. This initial bleeding which is a different color of brown discharge a sign of early pregnancy.
