Phew! This is a tricky one. It makes many a woman confused whether it is the period approaching or the good news. Well, if accompanied with other symptoms, it certainly is good news and nothing to worry about. Cramps indicate the successful implantation of the embryo in the lining of your uterus. The pain is because your uterus is making room for the new guest. Hooray, it's time to celebrate!
You may also find blood spots in your panties. This is normal too, as long as it's spotting. IF THE CRAMPS ARE ACCOMPANIED WITH EXCESSIVE BLEDDING OR FEVER, CALL YOUR DOCTOR FAST. It might be a sign of either ectopic pregnancy, or miscarriage, or pre-term labor.
Well, there's nothing much you can do about cramps. Simply remain cheerful, eat healthy food, exercise, and DON'T sit with a long face cribbing about the cramps. |
